I am at the river’s edge. The mist is palpable and fresh.I consume stillness as the stars above laugh. The silence is deafening.
Am I a wake, yet?

Very inspiring piece, thanks for sharing.
@YahyaHenry
Angelina, you are the first person in all the4 weeks SI have put 160's up that has taken on the "challenge". This post is magnificent. Thank you for participating. Did you do it on your phone first for character count?
Hi, I wrote it in Word and included the title for the 160 character limit. It is a fun challenge! I hope it catches on...
It is challenging to limit words and be descriptive enough to engage the reader. I took your "The Mountain" as my inspiration.
Thank you for your compliment.
I've not tried it yet. I would find keeping count of the characters a tad difficult.
On Tweet.com, which I very occasionally go to, there is an automatic character count which tells you when you've gone past 140. Don't know whether there's a similar check on my pc somewhere.
Angelina: just an update on my linking quest. I have discovered that I was using an older version of blogger and that I've now corrected the situation.
Many thanks for your guidance, which now works OK.
Phil
Hi Philip,
I did mine in Microsoft Word. Highlight the whole document when you're done, click on tools on the top, go down to word count, and click. It will tell you how many words and characters you have typed. Cut and paste on your blog. Good luck. I look forward to seeing your 160 if not today, then next Sunday. : )
Angelina, you are SO helpful. I have just tried the word/character count in MS Word and it works so swimmingly well.
Your explanation of the 'link' in blogging also now is within my ken! You have been the veritable fount of much-needed knowledge.
Phil
You are so very welcome, Philip.
Cheers, : )
