I think our purpose is to accept the world (God's creation) as is, without trying to play God ourselves. I realized that years ago when I read about some belgian nuns slaughtered in an african country by the very people they tried to help. I remenber feeling anger towards those who had sent the poor nuns to that country. To what purpose? Who gave them the right to play God and try to change people of another continent? I'm for humanitarian aid, but not in the way of converting people to your religion or trying to impose on them your education and customs. Anyway, real change can come only from within, and only if God approves of it.
Well said, Duta. Our destiny and purpose is in the will of the Creator. It is up to us individually to be observant by being connected to who we are and knowing when we are on the correct path.
