On January 15, 2016, I
challenged myself to write about being grateful over 100 days. This past week I
have reached my halfway point in this challenge. At this juncture, I have
learned that no matter what the circumstances in your life, there is constantly
things showing up in your life that are awesome and it doesn't have to be a big thing. Having gratitude will
increase this awareness and simply make your life more enjoyable.
Each day I
become more aware of the positive in my life. But I’ve also noticed, especially
on social media, that many people focus on the negative rather than on the
positive around them. I think, since it
takes just as much energy to be positive, why do not give it a go, and take this challenge too.

Day 55
I am grateful for
all the teachings regarding healthy raw livin'. Sometimes I find it a challenge
to eat raw,
especially in the winter. Therefore, in the winter I am more
inclined to be 60/40 raw. Opting for a
warm cooked meal for dinner. What I am particularly grateful for is learning about raw healthy foods. There is a wealth of information online to make wonderful delicious meals.
This morning, I am
having almond coconut yogurt that I made a couple of days ago. I added bananas,
dates and coconut shavings. It is tangy and sweet at the same time. Main thing
to remember is use 'raw' unprocessed nuts, which are soaked 24 hours before using. #healthy #raw #milkalternative #tasty
Day 56
I am
forever grateful for delicious Green juice! I admit, it is more work than
buying it. but it is so worth the effort to make your own juices.
This time I made juice using Granny Smith apples, ginger, parsley, cilantro, cucumber, and
kale. So yummy but more importantly it is also very good for me. :)
I am
grateful to be living in the country. There are so many benefits to living in
the country, but one I absolutely appreciate is the silence. No traffic and no emergency vehicle sounds.
In
the country, all I hear are the birds and the odd dog barking. #stressfree #silence #countrylife
Day 58
My
physiotherapist James, from Kanata North Physiotherapy is extremely knowledgeable
about sport injuries and other muscle problems.
I am grateful for his patience and ability to make me feel at ease and comfortable in his care.

Kudos to you for practicing wellness habits: eating raw foods, massages, meditation, swimming, use of herbs (turmeric, ginger) etc..
Judging by the pictures and your description of the yogurt and the green juice, both based on raw ingredients - the result is indeed yummi and healthy.
Duta, I do enjoy making my own food and can't wait to start my vegetable garden. :)
